About Mohkam

Experienced and Dedicated

Mohkam Singh Malik is a Community organizer shaping how young people engage with local and global decision-making. Born and raised in Surrey, British Columbia, Mohkam is part of a new generation of civic organizers working to make public life more inclusive, accountable, and action driven. Currently pursuing a degree in Political Science at the University of British Columbia, Mohkam’s work bridges local advocacy, student leadership, and global engagement.

From serving on Surrey’s Livability, Social Equity, and Public Safety Committee to representing Canadian youth as a delegate for COP 30 in Brazil, Mohkam has built a reputation for being a grounded yet unapologetically direct voice on issues that matter, affordability, representation, and youth participation in decision-making. His belief is simple: institutions work best when people who live with the consequences of their decisions actually have a seat at the table.
